Programs for
Little Learners is pleased to announce a new part-time division
in Vermont. The Director is Meghan Mulvenna. She has been a part
of the Little Learners team for over three years. She has extensive
experience in home based ABA programs, social skills groups' coordination
and facilitation, school consultations, and training home instruction
teams, and school based instruction teams. We are excited to have
her reach out to more children and their families in Vermont.
Our
new division will be available for program management, including
the following areas:
- Applied Behavior Analysis: teaching responsibilitiy
and skills development based on individual needs through rules
systems, structured teaching, discrete trial teaching and daily
living/activity schedules.
- Behavior Intervention Plans: are based on the
determination of the causes of problematic communication and functional
behaviors then organizing a means for management and change.
- Training: educating family and other team members
in appropriate strategies and techniques for reaching your child's
goals.
- Programs for Little Learners, Vermont will also
be offering a variety of Social Experiences including
- Social Skills Groups: targeting all levels
of social interactions in small groups of 2-3 children in
their home environment.
- Play Groups: incorporating community situations
for generalization of learned skills through planned, structured
activities.
- Peer modeling: providing opportunities to
actively learn from peers and gain exposure to typically developing
children's interests.
